What “free” means here
A free first reading is a real doorway, not a teaser that vanishes into a maze of popups. You can feel the cards, the writing, and the quiet of the app without paying to find out whether you like it.
It is not a claim that every feature is free. Lite is the free plan: a weekly zodiac Celtic Cross and your reading history. Personal daily readings, notes on readings, and custom requests belong to Regular and Premium. We would rather say that plainly than dress the whole app as a free tarot arcade.
How the cards are drawn
When a reading is created, Mystic Draw draws cards at random. Nobody is choosing The Star for you because it would look nice in a screenshot. A reader’s interpretation is then written for those cards, the spread, and — if a life area has been chosen — that context.
That honesty is part of the product. A random draw can still be a useful mirror. It cannot promise that a particular card will appear, and this site will not promise you a reading “with” a named card.
What you can do after the first draw
If the tone fits, create an account so history has somewhere to live. Come back for the weekly reading; that path stays free. Wander the card meanings when you want a reference beside the spread.
If you want a personal three-card thread each day, notes, or a custom reading, Regular is $10 a month. If you want a personal Celtic Cross with a chosen life area, Premium is $30 a month. None of that is required to take the first free reading or to keep the weekly ritual.
A reading for reflection
Mystic Draw is for a pause in the middle of a normal day — pattern-spotting, a little stillness, a sentence you can carry. It is not medical, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a guaranteed prediction of what will happen.

Are the cards chosen for me, or random?
Random. The app draws cards when the reading is created. The interpretation is written for that draw — not the other way around.

You can return to the weekly reading, which stays free, and you can use Lite. Personal dailies, notes, and custom readings are part of paid plans.
