Why keep a journal at all

Memory edits. The card that felt like a warning on Monday can look like a kindness once the week has happened — or the other way around. A journal is how you find out which. It is also how repeating cards become a pattern you can count, not a haunting you half-remember.

You do not need a system with twelve headings. Date, question, cards, one honest line, and a later note will outwork a neglected leather book.

What Mystic Draw actually stores

When you sign in, readings can stay in your history so you are not hunting through screenshots. Lite includes that history with the weekly zodiac Celtic Cross. Personal notes on readings — the diary layer — are part of Regular ($10 a month) and Premium ($30 a month). That is a product choice, not a tease: the notes are for people who are keeping a fuller practice in the app.

A journal that travels

Paper is beautiful and not always in your bag. Mystic Draw runs in the browser on the phone or the laptop you already have, so the thought after a reading does not have to wait until you get home. Sign-in follows you within ordinary session rules. Your readings are yours; they are not a public feed.

Use it as memory, not as a second interrogation

Open last week. See whether the near-future card was even talking about what you assumed. Notice a suit that kept arriving. Then close it. The journal fails when every old spread becomes an excuse to draw again immediately.

Readings, notes, and profile details are account data. We do not treat your journal as marketing copy or a social post. The public site is for education and finding the door. The app is where the private practice lives. That split is on purpose.

Do I need an account to keep a tarot journal?

Yes. History and notes need an account so the thread belongs to you. Lite includes history; adding personal notes on readings is part of Regular and Premium.

Can I use it on my phone and my laptop?

Yes. Mystic Draw is a browser app. Use whichever screen fits the moment.

Is the weekly reading part of the journal?

It can be. The weekly reading stays free and is a natural page to return to each week, with history kept when you are signed in.

Are my notes public?

No. Your readings and notes are private account data, not a social feed.
